Darlingtonia Californica (cobra Lily)
There is only one species.
Origin from united states (the rocky Mountains from Oregon to northern California up to about 900ft (2800m altitude)
Grows in spagman moss found along water courses formed by melting snow, where the roots can be maintained at cool temperatures

The genus Dionaea contains only one species.
Origin North and South Carolina
In its natural state the Venus fly trap can be found in the savanna plains where there are few bushes or trees. it grows surrounded by grasses and by other carnivorous plants such as Sarracenia Drosera Utricularia & Pinguicula on damp soils
The flower stalks develop in May or June. Each plant has between one to four,
Flowers are white.

Origin Europe Siberia Canada United States (west Pacific coast to east Carolina).
Can be found in damp places - swamps damp or flooded fields rocks peat bogs areas of spagman moss sandy edges of rivers .The PH can be from acid to neutral even to alkaline.
