Origin from Eastern & South-eastern Australia ( New South wales, Victoria , Tasmania, & New Zealand
Found in mountain bogs to low altitude swamps & is always in a wet acid soil

Origin from the Cape Province, South Africa
Lives in marshy peat soils among grasses ,can stand full sun likes to have as much sunlight as possible, best place indoors is on a window in a pot keeping humid though rather less so in the winter time
filiformis, ( the forked leaf sundew )
Origin from North America (the Atlantic coast from Cape Cod to south of the Mississippi
Grows in the sandy marshy regions of New Jersey .grows in large areas and has a marvellous show of flowers grows wild in peat or spagman moss
anglica,
Origin from around Europe north America .
Drosera anglica is one of the biggest sundews found in Britain.
rotundifolia:
Found around Europe, north America & also in Asia .its common name is the round leaf sundew.
It grows in damp marshy areas surrounded with
spagman moss .
It is a perennial plant, in the autumn the leafs go black & gradually dies down for the winter .
Small size insects are caught ,the tentacles fold around its prey, bringing it towards the centre of the leaf , where it has digestive glands.
The flower stalks come from the centre of the plant & can be white or pink. Can have up to 20 flowers .
Has an indefinite life span.

Likes light shade or full sun
Has a constant humidity
